Sacramental Whine

Mar 2, 2019

In this episode I have the honor of interviewing:

Bishop Nina Paul.  She has been the presiding Bishop since 2008 of the Open Catholic Church. Nina brings an incredible amount of wisdom and experience to St Teresa Open Catholic Seminary where she serves as president. Nina has served as a Hospice Chaplain since 2007.  She holds a bachelor’s in sacred theology and a Master of Arts in Ministry from the Seminary of St. Mary.

We discussed several things including:

  • Her elevator speech. What she says when asked about Independent Catholicism and the Independent Sacramental Movement.
  • The New Order of Glastonbury and Bishop Martha Theresa Shultz, and the name change to the Open Catholic Church.
  • Her work as President of St. Theresa Open Catholic Seminary.
  • Her experience as a hospice chaplain.
  • Her greatest challenge as a bishop?
  • The greatest blessing within her ministry?

This episode is sponsored in part by Convergent Streams: The Premier ISM Magazine.  If you haven’t checked out Convergent Streams I encourage you to do so, why?  Because it’s a great publication AND when you support Convergent Streams you are supporting a ministry within the Independent Sacramental Movement.  How can you go wrong with that?  Check it out at convergentstreams.org.  I like the print copy but you can also get it in ebook format.
