Welcome to episode 68. In this episode, I share the audio portion of a YouTube video I created on the Community of Saint George. Discussed is the origin of the Old Catholic Union and the Liberal Catholic Church, the Young Rite, and the founding of the Community of Saint George. I don’t want this to seem like an infomercial for the Community of Saint George, but I think there is some good content that anyone interested in the Independent/United Sacramental Movement would enjoy. I have built upon the original content of the video and turned it into a paper that I wrote in a class within my Doctor of Ministry program I am currently enrolled in. So, before I get into the audio recording, I mentioned I’m going to share some additional content you cannot get from the video where I talk about ultramontanism and our rejection of this Roman Catholic ecclesiological movement.
